There were more than a hundred empty big box stores in the Valley during the second quarter of this year — with a combined size of more than 4 million square feet.
At the same time, organizations moved into nearly half a million square feet of big box space.
The numbers come from CBRE, a commercial real estate firm, and with me to talk about them is Todd Folger, first vice president with CBRE’s Phoenix Office. He focuses on the retail sector.
