Number Of Protesters At Trump Rally Expected To Match Supporters

The number of protesters expected at President Trump’s campaign rally today is expected to match or outnumber his supporters.

Trump supporters from the conservative right are expected to fill Phoenix Convention Center and at least two groups have formally announced they will attend the rally.  One, a biker group, says it will show up to protect Trump fans from harassment.

The Southern Poverty Law Center expects white nationalists among Trump supporters after former Klu Klux Klan leader David Duke praised the president for blaming “both sides” on the deadly attack in Charlottesville.

That same day, Duke went on social media to blame Jewish leaders for demonizing their message on mainstream media.

It’s that language that Carlos Galindo-Elvira with the Anti-Defamation League says peaceful people should steer clear of especially when trying to educate their children.

“Any kind of language meant to minimize humans shouldn’t be used.  We should be using words that lift each other up, promote inclusion, and absolutely are said with respect," Galindo-Elvira said.

Galindo-Elvira says we all have a right to have our voice, we don’t have the right to harm.
