The situation for DACA recipients enrolled in any of the Maricopa County community colleges or at Arizona State, the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University has been far from stable.
A lawsuit involving the community college district has challenged its ability to charge in-state tuition for so-called “DREAMers,” and a majority of members of the Arizona Board of Regents has supported in-state tuition for DACA students at the state’s public universities.
