Phoenix City Council To Decide On Police Review Board

The Phoenix City Council will decide on Tuesday whether or not to accept a citizen petition asking for a Phoenix Police Civilian Review Board.

The board would be in addition to three other police review boards already in place.

City staff has recommended denying the petition saying significant research and analysis would be needed.

Also on Tuesday, Phoenix will host the third of 13 listening sessions intended to foster dialogue between the community and law enforcement.
