Emily Barman, associate professor in Boston University’s Department of Sociology, explained why we give in those situations.
Now we’re going to look at checkout charity from the business’ point of view. With me is Deborah Small, professor of marketing and psychology at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
