Demographics are shifting — we hear about this a lot as it relates to social trends or politics, but what about religion? A new survey from the Public Religion Research Institute in D.C. finds changes here as well.
The survey questioned more than 100,000 people across all 50 states. It found, for instance, in Arizona, a quarter of respondents said they’re religiously unaffiliated. The next largest group is White Evangelical Protestants, at 14 percent.
