Two programs the TSA uses to keep air travelers safe have come under scrutiny in a new report from the Government Accountability Office.
The GAO says the TSA lacks data on how effective the Federal Air Marshal Service and Behavior Detection and Analysis Programs are.
Previously, the GAO had recommended limiting future funding for the latter until there is such evidence.
With me to talk about this new GAO report and the two programs it discusses is Richard Bloom, chief academic officer and director of Terrorism, Intelligence, & Security Studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott.
