Arizona Public Schools' A-F Accountability Scores To Be Released

Arizona public schools will be receiving their first grades under the state’s updated A-F accountability system this week.

The Arizona State Board of Education revamped the grading system after the state changed its standardized test to AzMERIT.

The new rubric was approved in April and gives schools more credit for factors like student improvement.

Letter grades will be subject to an embargo period at first to give schools a chance to appeal their scores.
