Officials in Arizona are launching another program to convince qualified public school teachers to stay in the state.
An initiative called the Arizona Teachers Academy will give teacher candidates attending one of Arizona’s public college and universities a tuition waiver if they agree to teach in an Arizona public school.
The official announcement will be made by Gov. Doug Ducey and state higher education leaders on Tuesday morning.
