The Maricopa County medical examiner has confirmed there were no signs of foul play in the death of Fake News blogger Paul Horner.
Official word on how he died may take months.
However, Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Adella Laredo said investigators have spent the past 10 days interviewing family and friends of the 38-year-old.
"Interviews with Mr. Horner's family indicate the deceased was known to use and abuse prescription drugs," Laredo said. "Evidence at the scene suggested this could have been an accidental overdose."
Horner gained notoriety on the national news for fabricating stories favoring Donald Trump before the presidential election.
He was found dead in his Laveen apartment on Sept.18.
