Public Health Officials Warn Of Diseases As Result of Flooding From Hurricanes Harvey, Irma

Residents of Houston and Florida’s Gulf Coast are still in the early stages of cleaning up after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

And public health officials are warning residents to be aware of the possibility of an increase in certain diseases, as a result of the flooding.

With me to talk about that is Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
