After the failure last month of the so-called Graham-Cassidy bill on health care, Congress is once again looking into coming up with a bipartisan measure to stabilize the health insurance marketplace.
We wanted to get a sense of what that kind of proposal might look like, and we have two perspectives on it today, starting with Linda Blumberg.
She’s an economist and senior fellow in the Health Policy Center at the Urban Institute, which calls itself the country’s “leading research organization dedicated to developing evidence-based insights that improve people’s lives.”
She joins me via Skype.
For another perspective, we turn now to Yevgeny Feyman. He's an Adjunct Fellow in Health Policy at the Manhattan Institute, which calls itself a “leading voice of free-market ideas.”
He’s also a senior research assistant at the Harvard School of Public Health.
