Like that old song says, the children are our future. But a new report suggests the country’s future economy depends on taking care of today’s kids and helping them become productive members of society.
With me to talk about this is Dr. David Alexander. He’s a pediatrician and president and CEO of the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, which co-funded the study, called " The New Importance of Children in America."
