Valley Metro is starting four new or expanded bus service routesMonday:
-An extension of Route 83 along 83rd Avenue in Glendale and Peoria. It goes past the University of Phoenix Stadium and ends at Arrowhead Towne Center.
-A new circulator in Avondale. The first week of rides is free.
-An additional free circulator in Tempe that connects the public library and other neighborhood spots.
-A new route connecting Ahwatukee to Gilbert, running along Ray Road.
