ASU Report Looks At Criminal Justice Reform

Criminal justice reform in the United States that has focused on sentencing changes and trial procedures, among other things, has received a lot of attention in the past several years.

And in general, it’s an overall issue that has the support of liberals and conservatives.

Policy shifts announced by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, especially focused on drug enforcement, may stall that momentum.

But in the broader attempt to connect the academic ideas around the concept of reform with the general public, the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University has just published a report called "Reforming Criminal Justice."

One hundred twenty legal scholars got together to compile the publication.

The leader of the effort is ASU professor of constitutional and criminal law Erik Luna.
