The following conversation involves an alleged former member of the Mafia, the witness protection program and a famous country singer.
And one name has apparently been changed, though not necessarily to protect the innocent.
An investigation by The Arizona Republic found that a Phoenix businessman named Frank Capri and/or his companies negotiated deals to build Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar and Grill restaurants with mall owners and developers throughout the United States, then took tens of millions of dollars meant to pay for construction and walked away.
Capri allegedly was named Frank Gioia before entering the witness protection program.
