American Islamic Forum For Democracy President Outspoken Against 'Acts Of Terror'

This week’s attack in New York was called an “act of terror” by Mayor Bill de Blasio.

One person who has been very outspoken about events that are often called “acts of terror” or “terrorist attacks” is Zuhdi Jasser.

Jasser is the president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. He’s also a medical doctor and lives here in Phoenix.

Jasser is critical of organizations like CAIR, which advocates for Muslim civil rights, and sees them as Islamist.

His views are controversial, but he believes that it’s time for a reformation in Islam, similar to the Protestant reformation.
