The issue of undocumented immigration and how to modify federal law is constantly up for discussion in the halls of the nation’s capital.
Recently, though, the spotlight has been shining on the case of 10-year-old undocumented girl Rosa Maria Hernandez, who has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement following emergency gallbladder surgery.
She was brought to the U.S. as a 3-month-old by her mother. Julian Aguilar of The Texas Tribune has been following the case and joins me via Skype.
