Arizona Board Of Education Inadvertently Releases Students' Private Information

The Arizona Board of Education has violated federal privacy law by releasing the names, birthday and AzMERIT test scores of more than a thousand students.

The release appears to be inadvertent.

To talk about how this happened and who was affected is Jim Small, executive director and editor of the Arizona Center for Investigative Reporting.

Mark Brodie is a co-host of The Show, KJZZ’s locally produced news magazine. Since starting at KJZZ in 2002, Brodie has been a host, reporter and producer, including several years covering the Arizona Legislature, based at the Capitol.
