FCC Set To Vote To Roll Back Limit On Media Ownership

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is expected to vote Thursday to lift a decades-old rule limiting companies from owning TV stations and newspapers in the same market.

The FCC’s new chairman calls the rule outdated.

With me to talk about what the change may mean is Al Tompkins, senior faculty at the Poynter Institute.
