In the move away from a reliance on fossil fuels, there’s been an increased push to use biofuels — the most common of which is probably made from corn.
But concerns have been raised that biofuels actually are causing an increase in food prices in Europe, especially those fuels made from palm and other oils.
One report earlier this year said that some biofuels are causing higher emissions than fossil fuels.
