Arizona House Panel Hires Attorney To Handle Sexual Harassment Investigation

The special Arizona House of Representatives panel investigating sexual harassment charges against Rep. Don Shooter has hired an independent attorney.

Craig Morgan will look at a growing number of sexual harassment claims, now by nine women, against the Yuma lawmaker and Shooter's own counter charges against his accusers.

When asked about his process, Morgan confirmed he is investigating and that his firm has been hired by the House of Representatives.

"Beyond that, I can't comment," he said.

Morgan is a seasoned political attorney, having worked on the 2012 investigation of Tucson Rep. Daniel Patterson in a domestic violence case.
