The United States has a complicated relationship with Yemen, and that is exacerbated by Saudi Arabia’s role in the country.
Earlier this week, the House of Representatives passed a resolution saying that the U.S. shouldn’t be assisting the Saudis in fighting Houthi rebels in Yemen.
The resolution is nonbinding but did pass in a bipartisan fashion on a vote of 366-30.
