Arizona State fired head football coach Todd Graham yesterday after six seasons in the position and an overall record of 45 wins and 31 losses.
Graham had been on the hot seat, but some had speculated that the Sun Devils’ win over rival Arizona in the Territorial Cup game over the weekend might be enough to save his job.
ASU’s Vice President of Athletics Ray Anderson said Graham was let go because the team hadn’t won enough games.
Anderson said he will be aiming high as he decides on Graham’s successor.
Greg Moore has written extensively about ASU football, and his column Monday on the front page of The Arizona Republic covers it. Moore is here to talk about what's happened and what could be next.
