Rental prices for apartments in the Valley have been on the rise for the past few years, but the state is right around the middle nationally, in terms of median rent.
Three Valley cities, Glendale, Mesa and Phoenix, rank as the least expensive cities for renters, according to the data aggregation site Priceonomics. Scottsdale is among the most expensive.
