Alaska USA Credit Union Moving Its Service Center To Glendale

Alaska USA Federal Credit Union is shifting its operations from Southern California to Glendale's old Honeywell location, a 180,000-square foot, two-story building.

Workers at the California center will have the option to work in Glendale.

The credit union services Alaska, Arizona, California and Washington customers. The new service center will house 136 employees and could expand with more jobs.

Alaska USA officials say Glendale is a good place for the center because the area doesn’t have service-disrupting natural disasters and is close to the data center, also in Glendale since 2012.

The service center is expected to be up and working by the end of next year.
