What Was Behind Impeachment Vote Against President Trump?

A vote on articles of impeachment against President Trump brought by Texas Democrat Al Green only garnered the support of 57 of his colleagues, including Raul Grijalva of Arizona.

Democratic leaders urged their members to vote against it, which they largely did.

Joining me to talk about the impeachment effort, and why it was brought up now is Elaine Kamarck, a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and author of "Why Presidents Fail and How They Can Succeed Again."

in the wake of Tuesday’s vote, there’s been a lot written about it, and some are calling it a "political stunt."
