Arizona State shook up the college football world — and faced a lot of criticism — when it hired Herm Edwards as its new head football coach. Edwards coached in the NFL but has never been the top man for a college program.
During an Arizona Board of Regents meeting on Wednesday, Edwards had his contract approved. The board also addressed other items.
