Desert Makes Ideal Setting For Murders In Novel 'Desert Remains'

The desert is a mysterious place for many, which makes it an ideal setting for a suspense novel that features murders.

Some would even feature the desert as a character of sorts. And when a former investigative reporter decides to dig in, a combination of police procedural techniques and serial killings emerges.

That’s what author Steven Cooper has put together in his new book "Desert Remains." It’s set in the Valley, where Cooper lived for a time when he worked in television. He joins The Show's Steve Goldstein to talk about it.
