The race to succeed U.S. Sen. Jeff Flake in Arizona’s delegation is still wide open. At this point, former state Sen. Kelli Ward is the most well-known candidate by virtue of her losing race against U.S. Sen. John McCain in 2016.
But some observers — including GOP leaders — are expressing concern that Ward could do to GOP Senate hopes in Arizona what Roy Moore did last week in Alabama: cost them a relatively safe seat.
