The worldwide refugee crisis continues to get worse. One refugee camp in Kenya — Dadaab — has been in place since the 1990s.
But when it was rumored to be closing, refugees had to try to find other options.
To that end, the United Nations began a repatriation program. It would pay Somalian refugees to return to their home country. But that is a very dangerous proposition.
Kevin Sieff, Africa Bureau Chief for The Washington Post, wrote about the repatriation program and is with me via Skype to talk about it.
