After the NFL season ends, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson plans to sell the team.
His announcement came hours after a Sports Illustrated article detailed payouts to former Panthers employees for inappropriate workplace comments and conduct.
The NFL is now investigating.
Richardson has not addressed the allegations, only issuing a statement that it’s time for new ownership.
And, there appears to be plenty of interest, including from some wealthy, well-known African Americans.
Here to talk more about the sale is Kurt Badenhausen, a senior editor at Forbes and focuses on the business of sports.
