Warm Days In Arizona Expected To Continue Into The New Year

Weather in 2018 will start off the way it ended in the final months of 2017.

Mark O’Malley is a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Phoenix. He said New Year’s Day will be nice and warm.

“Dry all week, a lot of sun, occasional clouds, but like we’ve seen for the past couple weeks here, it’s going to be warmer than average," O'Malley said. "With high temperatures up into the lower and middle 70s and overnight lows only in the 40s.”

O’Malley said temperatures are running 5 to 10 degrees above average.
