The winningest coach in Arizona Cardinals history announced his retirement Monday.
In the past, because of the organization’s lack of success, that “winningest” distinction wouldn’t have meant much. But coach Arians had a successful five-year run, leading the Cardinals to the NFC Championship Game after the 2015 regular season. And now he’s decided to move on at the age of 65.
Cardinals’ owner Michael Bidwill gave Arians a locker-room send-off after his final victory.
