APS trucks and equipment arrive in Lake Charles, Louisiana on the way to Puerto Rico.

More than a hundred days after being devastated by Hurricane Maria, many Puerto Ricans are still without power.

Arizona Public Service is sending a team to Puerto Rico this month.

The 50-worker APS crew will help ongoing power restoration efforts on the island. Hundreds of thousands of people are still without electricity.

Another Arizona utility, Salt River Project, sent teams last month to help rebuild Puerto Rico’s power grid.

The crews are part of waves of support in a coordinated effort from American electric companies.
