The University of Arizona has fired its head football coach, Rich Rodriguez, after six seasons in Tucson.
Rodriguez is accused of sexual harassment and running a hostile work environment.
A former employee is making the allegations and has filed a $7.5 million notice of claim with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
A notice of claim is a precursor to a lawsuit against a public body.
The UA will still pay Rodriguez’s buyout of about $6 million.
