Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake is condemning President Donald Trump’s stance on North Korea after the president mocked Kim Jong-un’s claims about his country’s nuclear weapons earlier this week.
Flake said he wishes Trump had handled the situation differently.
"I don’t think bragging about whose button is bigger accomplishes anything good," Flake said. "I hope the president finds another way to conduct diplomacy."
He said this kind of back and forth rhetoric is “concerning.”
Flake also talked about the protests in Iran and the book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," which is highly critical of the president and his administration.
