Private, for-profit Grand Canyon University is making a fiscal announcement Friday.
The announcement comes a few months after the school’s third-quarter earnings report.
In that report, GCU President Brian Mueller said it is looking into creating a not-for-profit university as well as a for-profit publicly traded service company.
Mueller continued saying officials are trying to build a cash balance before making that decision.
At the time of the earnings call in early November, no decision had been made.
The Higher Learning Commission, GCU’s accreditor, rejected the school’s nonprofit plan in 2016.
