It finally feels like winter in Flagstaff.

The city received almost five inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. And with that snow has come some challenging road conditions.

Peter Corbett is with the Arizona Department of Transportation.

"It’s a wet snow," Corbett said. "It looks like the roads above 65-7,000 feet are wet and there could be patches of snow and ice so we advise drivers to slow down."

Corbett said there are 56 snow plows working to clear the roads.

Arizona Department of Public Safety has also reported multiple accidents and slide-offs in the Flagstaff area.

The weather service said the snow is expected to decrease throughout the morning.
