The election of Donald Trump sparked protests and greater political polarization.
It has also inspired a new charitable term called “rage philanthropy.” This is defined as giving that is aimed at protecting whatever basic rights and values the president trivializes.
A number of organizations, including the American Civil Liberties Union, have seen an increase in donations.
Will we continue to see this level of giving?
