CDC Spending In All 50 States To Combat Antibiotic Resistance

The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it’s made investments in all 50 states into research to combat antibiotic resistance.

The investment in Arizona is more than $1 million, for work in areas including food safety and tracking.

Dr. Bettina Fries is the chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York.
