Even as President Trump has moved to withdraw the U.S. from efforts to reduce the effects of climate change, many U.S. cities have charged ahead with their own efforts. The city of Flagstaff is holding an open house tonight to gather input on its first Climate Action and Adaptation Plan.
The city’s Climate Plan Team has researched climate trends in the area, and is concerned about an increase in per-person greenhouse gas emissions in recent years as well as warmer temperatures across northern Arizona. We’re joined now by Jenny Niemann, climate and energy specialist with the city of Flagstaff.
