Glendale officials are debating what to do with money earmarked for transportation, including light rail, after the City Council voted not to move forward with light rail.
The money comes from a voter-approved sales tax.

Bart Turner is a Glendale City Council member. He says he wants to see an increase in bus service, which was cut in 2012.
“If we’re not going to be providing light rail, we should right size the tax, and we should increase our bus service at least back to the 2012 level as quickly as possible," Turner said.
Turner said he’d also like to see the money used toward adding circulator buses as well as a shuttle to run between downtown Glendale and the Westgate Entertainment District.
