The Effect Of President Trump's First Year On Arizona

President Trump will deliver his first State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress tonight.

And, in the little more than a year he’s been in office, the Trump administration has had a significant impact in a lot of areas that affect Arizona.

The Arizona Republic has taken a look at a number of ways the administration and its policies have affected the state.

To get a sense of some of them, The Show's Mark Brodie spoke with the paper’s government and politics editor Michael Squires, starting with arguably the biggest issue at the moment: immigration.
