Documents Show Canadian Companies Fixed The Price Of Bread

Retailers in Canada allegedly conspired to fix the price of bread. Not just bread — but also bagels, naan, English muffins and even tortillas.

The conspiracy involves not only the retailers, but the suppliers. According to Canadian court documents, the companies raised the price 10 cents at a time and split the profits.

Joining us now to explain more about what happened is Francine Kopun. She's a business reporter at the Toronto Star.
