Even though Rep. Shooter is now out of office as a result of his behavior, it went on for a long time before this vote happened. And some recent reporting raises the question: will this change anything at the state Capitol?
We spoke with Rachel Leingang with the Arizona Capitol Times and Yvonne Wingett Sanchez of The Arizona Republic on the Capitol lawn on Thursday just after the vote came down to remove Rep. Shooter from office.
They both have done extensive reporting on this at the Capitol, and uncovered a pattern of harassment and a culture of sexism there that shows this problem goes far beyond Shooter.
