Yuma County Republican precinct committeemen chose three nominees to fill Shooter’s House seat Thursday after he was ousted from office over allegations of sexual harassment.
One is Paul Brierley, the current director of the University of Arizona’s Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture. Originally from California, Brierley operated a hay farm in southeast Arizona.
Another is Tim Dunn, a Yuma native and local farmer.
The final nominee is Cora Lee Schingnitz, once a member of the local Tea Party.
The Yuma County Board of Supervisors will decide who will replace Shooter Monday.
