Here in Arizona, we’ve seen a couple universities that have recently achieved this, building up division one programs from scratch.
Arizona State closes out their second full NCAA hockey season next weekend on Feb. 23-24 at Oceanside Ice Arena in Tempe, and GCU is currently making a push for the NCAA tournament as they wrap up their fifth year.
