12News just broke a story that might shake up the highly-watched Congressional District 8 race.
The station’s Brahm Resnik reported on text messages that raise concerns about conservative Republican Steve Montenegro’s relationship with a female staffer at the state Legislature.
Montenegro is a married man and a church minister who was endorsed by the religious group “Focus on the Family.”
He’s running for the open Congressional seat in CD8. The text messages show the staffer sent him topless photos — to which he responded they should communicate on Snapchat, where photos disappear.
