Dr. Nadine Burke Harris is the author of "The Deepest Well."

A new report from a group called Child Trends finds Arizona is one of five states in which as many as one in seven kids had experienced three or more adverse childhood experiences.

Dr. Nadine Burke Harris has been studying these experiences, also known as "ACEs." She’s a pediatrician, founder and CEO of the Center for Youth Wellness in San Francisco, and author of the book "The Deepest Well: Healing the Long-Term Effects of Childhood Adversity."

She joins The Show's Mark Brodie to talk about her findings.
